Fun in the City- Part one

About a month ago, the other Mr. and I realized that between work, finances, scheduling, circumstances, we were going to end up being apart for a few weeks in July. I had a family trip planned that he could not go on because of work and pretty much the day I returned, he would be leaving for a guys only camping week he does every year with his buds. Sadly, this is just the way things play out sometime. While bummed out, I convinced him to accompany me to my favorite city (ok every big, beautiful city is my favorite, but still...) for a day to spend some quality time together before going our separate ways. It was such a gorgeous day and we had a great time. I always have so many things I want to do on my San Francisco wish list and that day I think I crossed off 10! It was the perfect way to spend a day with my hubby and only made me want to go back as soon as possible. I hope you like my pictures!
First stop was a picnic in Alamo Square. The weather could not have been more perfect!

The house used in Mrs. Doubtfire!
Kara's cupcakes- as seen on Cupcake Wars

Smore on the left and Java on the right.

Part two coming up!

  1. You are such a tourist and I LOVE it! We got married in San Fran, so it's close to my heart, anyway......but I also always recommend people discover where they live. Kudos!

  3. @casey- that's so sweet! Are there pics of the wedding on your blog? I'm trying to remember if I've seen any. I don't mind playing tourist...there's always so much stuff to do!

@katherine- thank you...they were good- but if you are more into the frosting than the cake like I am I would try a different flavor than the smore.

    Thank you both for reading!
