I'm SO EXCITED!

My sister is here!

Her and her husband arrived here on Sunday from Scotland, just in time for the Oscars.

We have already done so much fun stuff and have way more planned for the week they are here, including a trip to the coast for a few days.

I'm having a blast and taking a TON of pictures!

I don't know how regular posting will be, I will have to play it by ear.

The time always fly by so fast I want to enjoy every minute.

I'll probably still post here and there, but for the most part I will taking full advantage of having my beautiful sister here!

Statement Necklaces

While I DO think there is something beautiful about a small delicate necklace hanging in the hollow of your collar bone, I have to admit there is something so cool about a huge, brightly colored statement necklace.

I recently added two beauties to my collection- in two of my favorite colors.

First up is this awesome neon yellow piece that looks really cool with even the simplest of tops.

And then I also got this amazing hot pink necklace that is interesting all the way around to the clasp.
Don't make me pick which one I like better.
That's just cruel.

Side note: Check out this awesome dress on my niece's Barbie. Isn't it cool?
My star obsession is no secret and check out the cool drop waist and tulle skirt.
Looking good, B, looking good. (We just need to work on your hair, girl.)

Even though it is technically winter- it's been feeling more like fall or even sometimes summer around here.

I love it when a season is so perfectly represented in a single item of clothing and this skirt just screams FALL to me.

Plus I love yellow!

Dressed to Impress: Jessica Chastain

She stole the show in The Help and has been turning heads on the red carpet ever since.

I love this girl- she always looks good!
(And she has the prettiest skin! I like a peaches and cream who can represent the pale
& not overly spray tanned.)

Recent Acquisitions (Budget Friendly)

Some new purchases that are making me smile:

$5 for 3 pairs of cheap and cute dangly earrings from Target.
Good for someone who tends to lose or misplace things (me.)

Basic black flats get jazzed up with some cut outs and bling (from UO on clearance)

Skulls offset the sweet pastels on this scarf (from Kmart and super cheap)

A beautiful bow ring to sit on my finger and make me a living present.
The quality is really good for Target- the rhinestones look great up close and in person ($15)

LOVE my new arrow necklace! I have been wearing this everyday since I got it- OBSESSED!
